My client based in Stratford Upon Avon is looking for a parts and Purchasing Assistant.
-Temp to perm after 3 months
-£12.50- £15.30 (depending on experience)
-Monday to Friday
-9:00-17:00
Main duties:
-To manage and maintain the correct stock levels by using the company IT software.
-To manage and maintain moving stock levels required in order to ensure equipment repairs and services are carried out on time.
-To ensure the department administration is dealt with correctly, including the correct completion of all courier and import/export administration, dispatch and invoicing.
-To manage all warranty claims with suppliers.
-To ensure weekly stock checks are undertaken with the assistance of Stores personnel. Working alongside the Stores Controller taking an active interest in stock levels and any issues raised.
-To investigate and award contracts for services within the company.
-To implement and maintain strict cost controls to meet department budgets.
-To maintain and improve profitability of parts within the Service Department.
-To promote parts/new products to new customers and maintain and improve relations with existing customers to increase turnover and profitability.
-To ensure the correct resources are sourced efficiently.
What we're looking for:
-Strong admin and customer service experience
-Previous motor industry experience
-Great communication skills
