Position: Pastoral Officer (Alternative Provision)
Location: Chesterfield, UK
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Description: A reputable teaching agency in Chesterfield is seeking a dedicated Pastoral Officer to work in an Alternative Provision (AP) setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pastoral support to students, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the well-being of all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students in managing their behaviour and emotions
Developing strong relationships with students and staff
Implementing pastoral initiatives to enhance student well-being
Collaborating with teachers and senior leadership to create a positive learning environment
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a similar role within an Alternative Provision setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A passion for supporting young people and promoting their emotional well-being
