Senior Procurement Officer

Role: Senior Procurement Officer

Location: Chesterfield (3 days in office)

6 month Contract/temporary role

Grafton are working with a public sector organisation to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a broad category background such as facilities, services, and IT categories to conduct a temporary contract.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the tendering process, identyfying best strategy when approaching a contract, negotiating, and leading to contract sign.
• You will work with internal stakeholders to determine requirements and develop tenders.
• You will be involved in supplier relationship management and performance management.

Requirements:

• Experience of structured tendering process and how to mange process.
• Background in services based categories and contracts.
• Ability to liase and communicate at all levels.
• Strong operational procurement experience
• MCIPS Qualified, or close to finishing.
