SalaryWe are working with a large secondary school in the Wakefield area who are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Officer to join their team.
The school is conveniently located close to the M1, meaning that it is easily accessible from a number of locations across the region.
The school are looking for someone who is experienced working in an educational setting, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- On call duties, supporting behaviour management.
- Lunch and break duties.
- Supporting heads of year.
- Managing student issues such as attendance and uniform.
- Communication with parents and carers.
- General student support.
- Liaising with parents when needed to report any issues.
Requirements:
- Previous pastoral experience.
- Previous experience using school MIS system (SIMS/Arbor).
- Two satisfactory references.
- A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one.
