The main duties of the Patient Administrator - Imaging role include:
- Playing a role in maintaining the seamless flow of patient administrative procedures across the patient journey.
- Ensuring adherence to best practice process maps to deliver a consistent, efficient, and professional service to patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
- Prompt and professional resolution of all patient inquiries is a priority.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for everyone attending the hospital, encompassing patients, staff, visitors, consultants, and contractors.
- Overseeing day-to-day management of referrals from the Referral Management Centre, including triage, ensuring compliance with the 18-week Referral to Treatment within specified timeframes, and managing SPOT contract patients.
What we are looking for in a successful candidate:
- Competent in utilizing a PC, including software and systems.
- Fundamental understanding of financial concepts.
- Prior administrative experience within a private healthcare setting.
- Essential possession of excellent customer service skills.
- Candidates are required to possess strong IT proficiency and preferably a background in hospital administration.
