As a Payroll Assistant/Administrator you will be responsible for collating and submitting the weekly payroll file for processing, working with managers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information provided.
The successful candidate will report to the Regional HR Manager. Standard hours would be 8.30 - 17.00. This is a site based role Monday to Friday. Salary £26,000 per annum. Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Assistant/Administrator you will be responsible for collating and submitting the weekly payroll file for processing, working with managers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the information provided.

- Completing timely weekly payroll sign off taking multiple factors into account including making appropriate bonuses, deductions and statutory payments when applicable
- Onboarding, including offer letter and contract drafting. Keeping personal details up to date, maintaining holiday records and balances, processing leaver information.
- Navigating both Excel and internal payroll software systems
- Working with the wider HR team to ensure compliance with right to work legislation
- Communicating with staff and managers, for payroll, employee and general queries
- Supporting migration to online payslips
- Numerically confident
- Experience coordinating payroll activities desirable but not essential
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage workload and prioritise tasks
- Understanding of need for confidentiality, observing GDPR legislation
