Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing excellent service to clients. The Payroll Administrator will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll records, handling payroll-related inquiries, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
- Compute and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions in an accurate and timely manner.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records.
- Update and reconcile payroll transactions and prepare reports for management.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax regulations and labor laws to ensure compliance.
- Provide timely and accurate information to clients regarding their employees pay.
Compliance:
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.
- Assist in preparing and submitting government reports related to payroll.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Qualifications:
- No payroll experience required
- Proficient in using a computer including email and excel. Any experience with Brightpay is a bonus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to handle employee inquiries professionally.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £23,500.00 per year
