Randstad is recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for North West Regional College for a 6 month contract.

Requirements
- Have a level 5 qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in a payroll function
- Excellent IT skills including MS Office - Excel is essential
- Previous Education or Public Sector experience would be an advantage
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English - C and above
- Candidates will be subjected to enhanced vetting including an Enhanced access NI check
Responsibilities
- Administer payroll via the in-house payroll system
- Check that all documentation received is properly authorised
- Undertake checks to ensure accuracy of documentation and input
- Ensure all deductions are accrue and appropriately authorised
- Process ad-hoc payments in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly returns for DoE, HMRC etc
- Ensure all documentation is recorded accurately and stored securely and in a confidential manner
- Assist with audit preparation and ensure all adequate information is available
- Maintain personal employee records, including master data, and in relation to sickness and absences
