Payroll Administrator

We are currently partnering with a leading Care Provider based in the Black Country, who are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their growing team on a temporary 3-6 month contract.
Our client is proud to be support more than 2,000 children, young people and adults across England and Wales through education and residential support.
This is a full-time position offering a rate of £16.45/hour PAYE. The role is due to start as soon as possible, dependent upon notice period and after an initial training period will require travel to the office 2/3 days per week.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll totalling c.6,100 employees
• Ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll during a new system implementation
• Responding to and resolving any incoming queries
• Completing all necessary payroll administration duties e.g. starters and leavers and p45s
• Administering statutory deductions including SSP, SMP and SPP etc
• Providing ad-hoc support to the wider payroll team and management when require

Experience required:

• Previous experience processing end to end payroll

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
