A reputable organisation based in the Nottingham area is looking to secure a Payroll Clerk on a permanent basis
Duties will include:
• Process end to end payroll on a weekly and monthly basis for over 1800 employees
• Add new starters and removed leavers from the system
• Prepared BACS payments and paid PAYE to HMRC on behalf of clients
• Carry out manual calculations, including furlough payments, sick pay and annual leave
• Upload monthly pension contributions to different pension providers
• Prepare and submitted P11Ds and P45s
• Process year end procedures following RTI regulations and produced P60s for employees
• Complete SSP, SMP and ad-hoc payroll adjustments including processing Auto Enrolment schemes
• Process attachment of earnings orders and advised clients of the payments due to the relevant authority
• Answer routine client queries regarding payroll, PAYE and NIC
• Deal with correspondence related to outside agencies; including Inland Revenue and Government
The successful candidate will:
- Have at least three years’ experience in processing payroll
- Experience in data inputting
- Be able to work in a fast paced and high volume department
- Possess good Excel skills
- 3-4 years payroll exp.
