You will be responsible for the administration of the payroll department and supporting the bookkeeping department.
The role requires you to:
Process weekly and monthly payroll using Sage software.
Calculate statutory payments including SMP,SPP,SSP.
Process AOE orders.
Calculate and upload pension information to the relevant providers.
Issue payslips and other relevant documents such as P45's
Complete the year end process
Payroll experience is essential for this role.
You will also be involved in bookkeeping work which includes
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Bank reconciliations
Assisting clients with posting and software queries
