Form of workWe’re currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to maintain the payroll system, input the weekly payroll and administer staff expenses.
Reporting into the Finance Director, some of the job duties include;
- Processing overtime sheets for contractors, inputting into the payroll system.
- Processing overtime reports of the T&A system.
- Processing starters and leavers on the payroll system.
- Inputting salary changes.
- Reconciliation of payroll payments.
- Co-ordinating with the third-party payroll provider on a regular basis.
- Administration of company pension scheme including letters to employees in respect of auto enrolment and salary sacrifice.
- Reconciliation of all payroll related payments and account reconciliations.
- Running ad-hoc payroll reports as and when required for either Finance or HR.
- Processing payroll year end.
- Processing P11Ds at the end of the tax year.
- Assisting in implementation of payrolling of benefits in kind in line with HMRC guidelines.
- Processing of employee expense claims in line with company policy.
- AD-HOC support for other members of the finance and HR department including, but not limited to, invoice processing and cashier related tasks.
Payroll is outsourced to a bureau, hence this role is a Payroll Administrator and not a full end-to-end payroll role. However, payroll experience is required. No particular systems experience is required but knowledge/experience using IRIS would be advantageous.
This is a full time, permanent role, office based. There is the possibility of some hybrid working after 6 months. There is an early finish on Fridays.
