Payroll Analyst - Project Support (18mth FTC)
Description
Joining our collaborative team, you will be immediately involved in our payroll outsourcing project across Europe. You will be working closely with the implementation Project Managers, internal payroll team, HR as well as other key contributors. This is a great opportunity to work on a highly visible programme of work across multiple European countries, gaining experience of a new payroll system and provider (Neeyamo) and we will support you in your own professional development.
This role is based in Darlington on a hybrid basis, working in the office two days a week - one of those being a Thursday.
In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:
Providing a key customer support role to internal and external stakeholders during each implementation phase.
Involved in the implementation and standardization of processes across different countries.
You will become an internal and external resource on payroll related inquiries for the new provider/system.
Participating in continuous improvement projects and initiatives; supporting the development and maintenance of payroll process documentation.
Ensuring compliance with internal controls on payroll systems and compliance with tax and other payroll related legislation.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Enjoy building relationships with the ability to work across a range of customers.
Ideally have Payroll experience, but what is key is very strong organizational skills and the motivation to learn potentially gained within HR or a Payroll provider.
Experience within projects would be a nice to have but essential is the ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively.
With eye for detail you will always be up-to-date on processes, documentation and timescales.
Good Excel and Word skills (ability to produce pivot tables, use complex formulas etc.)
You will be rewarded with:
£30,720 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
