Description
The key responsibilities of a Payroll and Pensions Managerwill include, but may not be limited to;
- Provide management within the Payroll and Pensions team
- Identify improvements to systems and procedures
- Expert within pensions by answering Payroll and Pensions queries
- Lead on renegotiation liaising with senior Finance members
- Reconcile balance sheet and ensure transactions are recorded
- Provide data in reports for board meetings
- Manage and oversee the Payroll and pension operations within the organisation.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment to all employees.
- Review and implement Payroll and pension policies and procedures.
- Handle all Payroll and pension-related inquiries.
- Prepare reports and statements for senior management.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Stay updated on latest Payroll and pension regulations and best practices.
Profile
The successful candidate as a Payroll and Pensions Managermust possess the following skill set and experience.
- Public Sector and Government background - NHS desirable.
- Ability to commute to Stockport.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
