AddressAnderson Knight are recruiting on behalf of an Accountancy Practice based in Paisley who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a busy and varied payroll role which would report to the Payroll Manager. The hours of work for this post are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The main duties:
- Responsibility for processing a weekly and monthly payroll
- Checking and ensuring all payroll information is accurate
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Liaising with HMRC
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Processing SSP, SMP, SPP
- Maintain and update employee records where required.
- Producing employee access cards
- Absence management/recording
- Generating payroll reports
The main requirements:
- Full end to end payroll experience is essential
- A proactive, self-starter
- Good IT skills
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
