SalaryVANRATH are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a large manufacturing group who are looking for a new Payroll Assistant to join their payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out end to end payroll on a biweekly and monthly basis for ROI and UK.

What you'll do
• Process weekly, biweekly and monthly payroll
• Ensuring the correct PAYE, National Insurance, etc are processed
• Processing subcontractors invoices and payments
• Process new hires and leavers, calculating statutory payments
• Preparation of P45s, P60s when required
• Assist with year-end
• Deal with payroll queries promptly and effectively
• Ensure confidentiality of personal data
• Accurately record sickness, maternity, paternity and sick leave
About you
- Previous experience in payroll at least 2 years
- Up to date knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws with UK and ROI
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet deadlines
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
