Reed accountancy is excited to be working with a well-established organisation in the property management sector who are looking to hire a payroll and benefits assistant on a full-time permanent basis, this position comes with an attractive salary and a fantastic benefits package.
The desired candidate must have previous experience within a similar role and is comfortable in working well within a team and communicating with the wider business.
Main Responsibilities
• Process and reconcile the organisations payroll on a monthly basis
• Ensure the system is updated regarding new starts and leavers
• Processing holiday requests and familial leave
• Liaising with debt collections agencies when required
• Accountable to ensure accurate payroll records and conducting an annual tax code cleanse to ensure the correct tax code is applied by the HMRC.
• Accountable to undertake leavers pay and benefits check to escalate any recoveries of monies or potential areas of overpayment to the Pay & Benefits Partner.
• Checking all expenses are claimed correctly and are within policy of the HMRC guidelines
• Processing employee pensions
• Administering salary exchange benefits
