Payroll & Accounts Assistant

Are you an experienced payroller looking to develop your experience in accounts? 

Reed are working with a well-respected Accountancy firm based in Edinburgh who are looking to add to their team. You will be responsible for managing weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries. You will work closely with the clients to deal with any issues and to ensure that the firm are adding value across the board.

You will also have the opportunity to take on accounts and tax work, with full training and optional study support available, with the long-term view of becoming AAT or ACCA qualified. 

 This is a busy role where no two days will be the same and is a rare opportunity to cross-train and really expand on your existing skills, gaining invaluable training and experience in accounting. You will work with a friendly, supportive group of people who pride themselves on the service that they provide to their clients and will be a key part of the team!

In order to be considered for this role, you must have recent UK payroll experience, preferably in an accountancy practice setting (candidates with industry experience will also be considered).
