As part of a busy accounts office, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our diverse client base.
Brief Job Description: As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for managing payroll processing for approximately 90 clients, handling both weekly and monthly payrolls. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Efficient payroll processing for multiple clients
- Preparation and/or review of CIS submissions
- Ensuring compliance with client pension obligations
- Providing exceptional support to clients regarding payroll queries
- Liaising with HMRC to address payroll-related inquiries
Requirements for the Role:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing (preferred)
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and HMRC
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant payroll software
Schedule: Monday to Friday, flei/part tiMe hours considered
Work Location: In person
