Description
The duties for the Payroll Clerk are:
- Processing payroll in a timely manner, full end to end including statutory payments
- Ensuring payroll transactions are processed correctly for audit purposes
- Identifying discrepancies in the payroll process
- Maintaining payroll information/ preparing reports by collecting, entering, analysing and summarising information
- Resolving payroll discrepancies
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Ad hoc duties
Profile
A successful Payroll Clerk should have:
- Experience in a full end to end Payroll position- essential
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with payroll systems
