Description

The duties for the Payroll Clerk are:

• Processing payroll in a timely manner, full end to end including statutory payments
• Ensuring payroll transactions are processed correctly for audit purposes
• Identifying discrepancies in the payroll process
• Maintaining payroll information/ preparing reports by collecting, entering, analysing and summarising information
• Resolving payroll discrepancies
• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
• Ad hoc duties

Profile

A successful Payroll Clerk should have:

• Experience in a full end to end Payroll position- essential
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with payroll systems
