AddressAnderson Knight are recruiting on behalf of a client based in Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Payroll Assistant on a full-time permanent basis. This is a busy and varied payroll role which would report to the Head of Payroll and offers hybrid working. The hours of work for this post are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The main duties:
- Responsibility for processing a weekly and monthly payroll
- Checking and ensuring all payroll information is accurate
- Dealing with payroll queries
- Liaising with HMRC
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Processing SSP, SMP, SPP
- Maintain and update employee records where required.
- Producing employee access cards
- Absence management/recording
- Generating payroll reports
The main requirements:
- Full end to end payroll experience is essential
- A proactive, self-starter
- Good IT skills
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
