Payroll Manager

We are currently working with a global purpose-led transformation company, that supports businesses in making a meaningful difference. We are seeking a Payroll Manager to join the team in Peterborough and assist the existing team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily and Monthly Tasks:

• Assist employees with payslip queries and statutory/voluntary deductions.
• Guide the business on payroll actions for new joiners, transfers, and leavers.
• Address pay-related employee queries.
• Liaise with TCS Ireland and third-party payroll providers.
• Support Finance with pension payments and third-party providers.
• Process statutory deductions and provide data to the offshore payroll team.
• Manage monthly pension changes and liaise with providers.
• Handle new joiner P45/P46 documents and distribute P45 documents to former employees.
• Participate in monthly team calls on payroll inputs and actions.

Annual Tasks:

• Support tax year-end activities and distribute P60 documents.
• Check annual statutory limits and deductions for tax and national insurance.
• Collaborate on changes to pension and medical schemes.
• Collate and provide P11D data for document production and upload.
• Manage pension re-enrolment tasks every three years.
