Payroll Manager Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and meticulous entry and administration of all payroll information in their system.
• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, collaborating with the payroll team to adhere to Guidelines.
• Prepare and process weekly and monthly payroll runs, meticulously reviewing for accuracy and addressing any necessary amendments.
• Handle ad-hoc payroll requests as needed.
• Provide support to management for high-level queries and escalations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Auto-Enrol Workplace Pension Schemes/Regulations.
• Assist with annual audit and compliance requirements.
• Generate, finalize, and close weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls through report preparation and execution.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience managing a payroll department with a focus on high volumes of weekly payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of current Payroll legislation and calculations.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong multitasking abilities to manage a dynamic and varied workload.
• Capable of working both collaboratively in a team and independently.
• Proficient in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Previous experience in migrating from one payroll software to another is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• CIPP Payroll Technician - Advanced qualification is preferred.
