Transaction Recruitment are supporting our Midlands based client in their search for an experienced Payroll Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. You will be working as part of an industry leading business which provides managed payroll services. In this newly created position you will be responsible for managing relationships with their customer base, ensuring exemplary customer satisfaction is maintained, best practises are adhered to, and identifying any opportunities to provide a wider range of payroll services. My client is looking for a proactive payroll professional with a strong desire to oversee a function which has been identified as an opportunity for exciting growth. This position is well suited to an experienced Payroll Manager looking for an opportunity to implement their knowledge outside of BAU payroll.
This position offers remote working indefinitely, but the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate flexibility for visiting the offices if/when required.
Daily duties and experience required includes:
- Experience managing a large/complex payroll from start to finish
- Previous bureau experience would be advantageous
- Identify and implement process improvements to maximise efficiency
- Strong communicator with the ability to liaise with internal and external departments
- Compile documentation to offer clear directions for best practices
- Supporting the wider payroll function on a national level with queries that may arise
