NC Associates are supporting an award-winning global service business recruit a skilled Payroll Manager on a six month contract. The Payroll Manager will be part of an organisation that has been trading over 100 years and has two market leading brands. Based near the centre of Manchester, the Payroll Manager will play a significant part in ensuring all employees, both UK & internationally, are paid on time, as well as improving processes. This is a great opportunity to take full control of the payroll function as well as being supported by senior management.
The duties will include:
- Responsible for UK and International Payroll
- Leading & coaching the senior payroll team
- Supporting the Head of Finance with payroll reports & analysis
- Ensuring all payroll data is maintained accurately, reducing errors within Payroll.
- Monthly Analysis of outstanding expenses
- Query Management Monthly Payroll Balance Sheets
- Resolving escalated reconciliation queries
The ideal candidate will have experience of being in a similar payroll position within a large organisation, is confident with payroll processes including manual Tax & NIC calculations, has stakeholder management experience and is strong with IT systems including excel.
