Concept Resources are recruiting for a leading manufacturing business based in Bloxwich, as a Payroll Officer and play a crucial role in managing weekly and monthly payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Handle end-to-end processing of both weekly and monthly payroll for our diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Timekeeping and Attendance: Maintain accurate records of employee attendance and work closely with relevant departments to address any discrepancies.
- Statutory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with UK payroll regulations and ensure compliance with tax laws, pension contributions, and other statutory requirements.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain employee payroll data, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Query Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related queries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Reporting: Generate accurate payroll reports for management review, providing insights into payroll trends, costs, and other relevant metrics.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation and regulations.
- Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.
