We are currently recruiting a Senior Payroll Clerk for a well-established and successful business in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity as the company are happy to hire an experienced Payroll Clerk looking to take a step up into management! The Senior Payroll Clerk would be managing one person and will gain the responsibility with bringing the payroll in house!
The Senior Payroll Clerk will be on-boarding new staff and calculating statutory pays such as holiday, sick and maternity. The successful candidate must be excellent with communication and time management and be interested in gaining exposure with accounts receivable duties. The company are looking for a positive individual that is happy to get stuck in with other various internal improvement projects.
Skills required:
- The selected candidate must be able to work from the office 5 days a week, they have community feel and believe it stems from working together
- Have experience in another Payroll position that covers start-to-finish Payroll
- Be looking to take a step into management, the company are hoping to provide the opportunity for a confident Payroll Clerk to take the next step in their career
- Strong communication skills are a must for this role as the Senior Payroll Clerk will regularly be handling payroll queries
