We are on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Officer you will be joining the friendly and dedicated People Services team in a senior capacity. You will be based at our modern and quirky Acorn House office in Highbridge.
This role is all about managing the operation of monthly payrolls. Attention to detail is key, ensuring that payments are made accurately to our co-owners. Knowledge of using payroll systems and working with large data sets is essential, as is a good working knowledge of Excel.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Process all monthly payrolls including: pensions uploads, FPS and EPS processing. Processing all payroll changes (new starters, leavers, overtime, SMP, SSP, etc); preparing all necessary reports from our payroll and HRIS systems, running the payroll calculations and preparation of the BACs payments for the payroll
- Support the People Service Administrators with maintenance of internal people systems information and e-filing systems (employee records)
- Supporting the People Services Administrators with the completion of the on-boarding process, in monitoring and reporting on the submission of all new starter paperwork (either via our applicant tacking system (ATS or paper copies)
- Treating all data with strict confidence
- Creating and maintaining e-files
- Be the first point of contact for all payroll technical queries and any queries regarding payroll system and Employee Self Service software issues.
- Supporting the HRBPs and Team Managers with ER queries and administration
- Maintaining internal people systems information.
