Payroll Assistant - Full or Part Time
Dereham up to £28,000
Keeler Recruitment have been engaged to support with the appointment of an experienced Payroll Assistant to join their payroll team on a permanent basis. Our client is happy to consider both full or part time and flexible working onsite at their office.
The Payroll Assistant will report directly to a supportive and experienced Payroll Manager and work closely with both Finance and HR.
Key duties and responsibilities will include;
Processing of weekly, monthly, four-weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
Managing enquires internally and externally to ensure a professional and efficient service is provided. Assisting with audit processes.
Escalating any issues promptly to the Payroll Manager and assist as necessary.
Maintain an appropriate record/filing system of all relevant information for audit purposes.
Provide necessary documentation to HMRC (RTI), and also assist with the preparation and submission of all year-end returns to HMRC.
Manage pension schemes and payments including auto-enrolment.
Prepare BACS files to make payroll related payments
Support the Payroll Manager with any other payroll tasks as required.
Our client is seeking someone with proven experience within a similar payroll position, and ideally in a Bureau environment and possess relevant payroll qualification.
