Overall Purpose of the Job
- Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, you will supervise the Payroll Services team responsible for the provision of specialist Payroll Services to ensure the delivery of University Payrolls and to support the transactional activities undertaken by the Payroll Department
- To support the Payroll Manager in the management of payroll compliance and finance support services along with a range of non-core pay transactional activities
- Work with Global Mobility Team to ensure full knowledge of international payroll processes.
- Work with payroll manager on technical changes to systems.
- Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, ensure that the team meets service standards and performance against agreed targets (SLAs and KPIs). Ensure work demands and available resources are effectively planned and managed, planning for regular and annual events to ensure that performance is optimal (and responding as appropriate to unplanned work activity.
- Payroll compliance and finance support services along with a range of non-core pay transactional activities
