Reports to – payroll manager
Salary 28-30k
Location – Wider Antrim Area

Job description –
Hays are on the search for a Payroll Supervisor for a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering firm, the postholder will be required to review all new start and leavers information on the payroll and time and attendance systems. They will also be expected to review all pay rate changes on the payroll and time and attendance system.

Key Requirements of role -
• Check hours and calculate overtime and holiday pay.
• Calculate back pay, sick pay and all other statutory payments if required.
• Pensions administration, including both auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice schemes.
• Assist the payroll Manager in completing Monthly and 4-weekly payrolls as required.
• File all payroll information as instructed by the payroll manager.
• Assist with grant claims when required.
• Manage payroll tasks under the guidance of the payroll manager
• Any other reasonable duties that may arise.

General -
• Undertake all duties in line with general data protection and maintain utmost level of confidentiality.
• Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
• Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the dignity at work procedure.
•You must maintain high standards of personal accountability.

Essential –
Third level qualification in Business, Finance, HR or a related discipline (or equivalent) and 1 years’ experience in a payroll administration role
Or
5 GCSE’s including GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths and 2 years’ experience working in a dedicated payroll administration role.
