Day to Day of the Role- Manage end-to-end processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for a varied client base, adhering to current legislation and internal policies.
- Supervise and guide junior team members, ensuring high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle payroll transactions, including terminations, statutory payments, and deductions, with attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive information.
- Keep updated with payroll legislation and engage in payroll improvement projects.
- Address payroll-related inquiries professionally and provide timely solutions.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding service and support business expansion.
- Experience in a payroll bureau or similar setting within an accountancy firm is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of UK manual tax and national insurance calculations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
