Payroll Team Lead

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Team Lead to manage the payroll function in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing all payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legislation.

Description

• Manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with current government regulations
• Establish and implement payroll policies
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities
• Provide leadership to the Payroll Team
• Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
• Develop systems to process payroll account transactions
• Coordinate efforts with Human Resources department

Profile

A successful Payroll Team Lead should have:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in a managerial role within a payroll department
• Strong understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Proficiency in relevant payroll software
