Pcb Design Engineer

As PCB Design Engineeryou will be part of a rapidly expanding global space organisation at the forefront of technology.

AsPCB Design Engineeryouwillprovide a design service, which includes Library management, Technical support, component placement, signal routing, peer reviews and creation of final documentation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include

• Providing a full PCB Design Layout Service to all Internal Programs, which include technologies from simple boards to complex multilayer, rigid/flexi-rigid, surface mount, impedance matched, RF etc.
• Providing full PCB Design Layouts from Electronic, Mechanical and Environmental requirements
• Ensuring designs and hardware are in accordance with requirements and conform to industry standards.
• Collaborating with all stakeholders (internal and external) from conception through to delivery of Hardware
• Supporting Hardware/Software/System integration, validation and qualification

Experience required

• Educated to BSc or equivalent in Electronics or relevant subject
• Previous commercial hardware product design
• Designing PCBs to IPC class 3 / 3A
• Development of satellite/payload equipment
• Design of complex, high speed circuits implemented as high density, multi-layer (14+) PCBs
• Strong circuit and PCB design and simulation tools (e.g. Allegro, ADS, SiWave, HFSS, CST)
• PCB fabrication processes and technologies (materials, stack-ups etc.)
• Hands on experience in the design of products that contain the following:
  • Microcontrollers / Digital Signal processors / FPGA / ASIC
  • High speed digital Interfaces (e.g. SerDes, ADC/DACs, etc)
  • Power supplies and sensors
  • RF and Mixed signal design
