Pentagon Talent are partnering with a forward thinking and modern Top 10 accountancy firm to recruit for a Pensions Administrator in their Gatwick office. They are a leading firm with a long standing reputation who provide premium service to help their clients thrive. Our client are a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services with a large global presence.
Duties and responsibilities
Our client are on the look out for a talented Pensions Administrator In this position you will carry out a range of duties and responsibilities, these duties include but are not limited to;
- Providing a complete pensions administration service.
- Responding to pension enquiries such as processing retirements, transfers out and time critical events such as responding to the death of a member.
- Answering complex member and third party queries.
- Controlling and monitoring pension cases and workflows ensuring all activities are completed in line with legislation.
- Assisting the Pensions Manager with the preparation of the scheme financial statements and the submission of the annual scheme returns.
- Recognising breaches relating to data protection, cyber security and fraud.
Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as a Pensions Administrator you must have good knowledge of UK pension legislation and considerable experience in an operational Pensions Administrator role. Have a thorough understanding of pension and able to carry out member benefit calculations and have advanced excel skills.
