The role
We are looking for an Interim SIPP Manager to join our team in Bristol.
As an experienced SIPP Manager you are used to encouraging and supervising a high quality of service across a SIPP administration team.
You will oversee all associated administration that comes with managing a SIPP administration team, including periodic reviews and valuations, calculations, handling investments, ensuring investments are 'permitted', handling property transactions including purchases, sales and rental transactions, whilst liaising with clients when necessary.
Job description
Managing and supervising the SIPP administration team -
- Logging and allocating daily post to team members via the work log on SIPP Pro, and managing the teams workflow.
- Management of the SIPP team to ensure procedures are followed for each item of post and reporting non-compliance to the Administration Manager
- Dealing with all aspects of SIPP administration, including new business, illustration requests, Investments, retirements, transfers in, transfers out and deaths.
- Dealing with communications to and from clients and intermediaries whether in writing, by email or over the phone.
- Overseeing and carrying out annual SIPP reviews within timescales to ensure that the scheme accounts are issued within 6 weeks of the scheme year end.
- Ensuring SIPP team adhere to service standards & reporting any failings to the Administration Manager.
- Dealing with payments from scheme accounts using the Bankline system and ensuring that all payments comply with the company Client Money policy.
- Monitoring team workloads and performance and reporting findings monthly to the Administration Manager.
- To identify and highlight areas requiring improvement and assist in the preparation of processes and procedures.
- Ensuring that the SIPP team keep the SIPP Pro database up to date with current information and reporting any non-compliance to the administration manager.
