Join our Team as a People Advisor with a salary from £32,000.00 per annum DOE.
Work Monday – Friday, 08.30am – 5.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break and the ability to work from home 2 days per week!
As a People Advisor, you will play a critical role in:
- Providing expert advice and support on a range of HR matters including employee relations and supporting our people managers to grow and develop.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment law and best practices.
- Supporting the recruitment team by working closely with department managers to identify staffing needs, draft job descriptions, and facilitate the selection process as required.
- Leading onboarding and induction sessions for new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the company.
- Managing employee records and HR databases with up-to-date, accurate information.
- Promoting employee well-being and engagement through the design and delivery of initiatives and events.
- Coaching people managers to be better equipped to effectively lead our people.
What We're Looking For:
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
- Proven experience in an HR advisory role, ideally within a manufacturing or similar industry.
- Excellent knowledge of current employment legislation and its practical application.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
