The role
As a People Advisor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll be part of a team where people are at the heart of everything we do and being committed to providing this support at the highest level of customer service is absolutely key.
Day to day, you'll provide first line interaction with all of our PeopleCentre customers. You will be expected to provide accurate advice and guidance across many HR related topics that we cover within the People Centre.
Typical tasks and responsibilities include:
- Working as part of a team to ensure our deadlines are met.
- Administering requests from the business though People Assist, a case raising system.
- Adhering to policies when serving the business.
- Improving standards and processes.
- Working as a team to provide help and guidance to internal team members but also the business.
This role is full time - 36 hours and will be based on site at either Rosyth, Devonport Royal Dockyard or Babcock Technology Centre with hybrid working from home arrangements.
Essential experience of the People Advisor:
- Capable of grasping the operations of software and capable of understanding the structure of basic reports.
- A desire to work in a busy and complex environment.
- Articulate, resilient and able to work as part of a team.
- A 'can do' attitude, enthusiastic and confident.
- Aware of the need for confidentiality.
- Conscientious with attention to detail
Qualifications for the People Advisor:
We value difference and don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
