The People and Culture Manager will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team on the organisations strategic people plan, manage the people team and be an ambassador for the group values, behaviours and Culture.
What you will be doing
· Advising on employment law, employee relations and up to date employment trends and ways of working (including HR technology) within people management.
· Formulating and delivering people plans at an operational level to achieve organisational goals and maximise staff effectiveness, morale and retention.
· Coordinating the training of managers on managing people in line with the group’s people policies, processes and HR systems.
· Reporting on people metrics to ensure accountability and consistency in approach to people management across the group.
· Contributing to the development of a robust values-based culture through role modelling AIM’s values and the behaviours which drive this culture.
· Supporting line managers to drive engagement through activities and behaviours to encourage great team spirit and morale in line with the group’s culture and values.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following essential requirements/qualifications:
· Substantive experience working within HR at manager level.
· CIPD qualified to a minimum of level 5 or working towards.
· Can effectively demonstrate a good knowledge of current employment legislation and its practical application.
· A working knowledge of current data protection legislation.
· Proven experience of creating and reviewing policies and processes in relation to employment/people management
· Experience of managing complex employee relations cases such as, but not limited to, disciplinary, capability, grievance.
· A track record of line managing People and teams in previous roles.
· Experience of leading organisational change management from a HR perspective.
· Strong track record of effective decision-making skills in relation to people management.
· Proven track record of duty of confidentiality in the role and application of GDPR legislation.
· An effective communicator with individuals and groups of all levels.
· Experience of producing and delivering training for a range of audiences.
· Experience of developing and devising operational people plans.
