People and Human Resources Manager

Eden Brown is delighted to be working with an incredible international Charity based in Greater Manchester to recruit them a People and Culture Manager. The organisation work across the globe to strengthen humanity's fight against poverty, social injustice and disaster and run various appeals to provide help and support internationally.

About the Role

As People and Culture Manager you will;

• Manage all aspects of HR and the full employee lifecycle for Human Appeal's (HA) UK and US offices, while providing technical
• Support and oversight to HA's global fundraising offices (Ireland, France, Spain etc.). This will include all aspects of organisation design,
• Be involved with the recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, performance and talent management, employee engagement and employee relations. All in order to enhance the efficiency and productivity of HA, to enable an increase in income and organisational growth year on-year, as well as to ensure HA's compliance with employment law in order to protect the organisation from economic and reputational harm.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have;

• A degree, ideally with an undergraduate / Masters or CIPD qualification in Human Resources Management

• At least 3 years' proven management experience
• At least 5 years' experience working in HR, with strong up-to-date knowledge of UK
• employment law
• Demonstrable experience of managing multiple complex ER cases, including investigations, grievances, disciplinaries, redundancies, and capability processes
• Experience working on an ER case at employment tribunal level is desirable
• Experience of managing TUPE transfer processes is desirable
• Experience working in the not-for-profit sector, with knowledge of Charity Commission and Core Humanitarian Standards, is desirable
