People Assistant
Temporary initially until August 2024 - Part Time (21 hours per week)

We are looking for a People Assistant to join our busy growing People Team. This is a vital and varied role within the People Team, where you will get involved with on-boarding, employee lifecycle, recruitment, and organisational development, in addition to employee changes, leavers, payroll, data management and benefits.
The role will support in the employee lifecycle focus. The role requires the post holder to deal with a high volume of work, meet numerous deadlines and keep confidentiality at all times. We are looking for an individual who has great communication skills, a good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Job Description
- Salary - 3C/D/E grade, starting at £21,528 - £22,186 per annum, pro rata
- Working hours - 21 Hours (open to discussion on working days)
- 50/50 working from home/in the office split
- 27 days holiday, plus 8 bank holidays, plus 4 SYHA days at Christmas, Easter, Spring and August Bank Holiday (all pro rata). The leave year runs from 1st April to the 31st March.

Who you are:
- Have Human Resource administration experience
- Are approachable and excellent at building relationships
- Have strong customer service ethos
- Are self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Are experienced in the use of IT - HR systems and Office 365
- Can consistently meet deadlines and produce high quality work
