12 month FTC
Salary range - up to £52,500 max
Based at HQ (Herts) but can work remotely coming into the office at least once a month.
Retail or Healthcare backgrounds considered
Occasional travel required to sites across the UK
This is a newly created role within this growing, multi-sited organisation, now looking to strengthen the development opportunities for the clinical employees across the business. The role will work across the business to identify, design and implement an engaging and progressive career development offering for the clinical teams, enabling the business to keep and find even more exceptional people. The role offers a real opportunity to help shape and guide how the business delivers learning and development and most importantly enable improvements in business outcomes and performance.
Key Skills:
- Retail, Health or Veterinary background and expertise.
- A real passion for L&D with a strong understanding of the impact it can have on behavioural and cultural change.
- Experience of working in an L&D partnering role in a fast-paced and complex environment.
- Proven experience of identifying training needs, developing and implementing learning interventions, and evaluating learning outcomes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, influence and work collaboratively with people at all levels, including senior management.
- Excellent understanding of instructional design, learning methodologies and different learning modalities i.e., instructor-led versus digitally enabled etc.
- A good commercial mindset with proven experience of delivering learning solutions that drive business performance.
- Evidence of strong business acumen including making evidence-based business decisions.
- Strong facilitation and delivery skills.
- Experience in managing external contracts and suppliers with a broad understanding of different L&D suppliers relevant to staff development
- Excellent IT skills in general including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to plan time effectively and manage multiple work streams.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
