Job description
We are supporting an engineering defence company to appoint an People Administrator who will be working in the HR & People Centre area and be responsiuble for updating systems with personnel data, ensuring compliance with GDPR/Data Protection Act and supporting in general HR administrative queries.
Rate: £13.93 p/h PAYE + holiday pay + pension (equivalent of £26,000 per annum)
Location: Plymouth - Devonport, fully onsite
Duration: 6-12 months
Requirements: Eligible for BPSS/Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
* Supporting the administration of all HR processes within the People Centre in line with agreed standards and timescales.
* Maintaining the highest level of accuracy and customer service.
* Providing support in line with the company's Purpose and Principles.
* Ensuring the data is held, processed, and maintained in line with GDPR legislation.
* Updating data for the HR systems in accordance with process and timescales
* Ensuring data is correct, approved and validated.
* Ensuring data is controlled in line with Data Protection Act.
* Ensuring compliance of the company's policies and procedures
* Supporting the Devonport Site Accident Emergency arrangements as required. (Devonport Location only)
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience
* 5 GCSE's including English and Mathematics
