A rapidly growing property consultancy with an office network across the UK and Europe is looking to hire a People Manager to join a small but fabulous, collaborative and supportive team. This is a true generalist role for someone who loves coaching and mentoring the future talent of the people team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This is a busy and broad People Manager role with lots of variety, so you will be the kind of person who enjoys running with the BAU but is also involved with projects, implementing change and developing a positive and supportive culture! Typical duties include:
- Supporting with any Employee Relations matter and supporting managers with difficult conversations.
- Managing the People Assistant and Senior People Assistant with their activities.
- Supporting and leading any wellbeing initiatives
- Managing and championing the Performance Management process, supporting managers with providing feedback, goal setting to help develop employees skillset.
- Supporting the Head of People with succession planning
- Managing the HR data and reports
- Leading the international senior recruitment.
- Supporting with the coordination of annual training, mentoring programme, identifying and additional training requirements through the appraisal process
- Lead with EDI initiatives
- Supporting the Head of People on projects
To be successful, you will have solid experience in a similar People Manager role from a generalist background and enjoy working in a rapidly growing firm.
Essential requirements:
- Solid experience as a People Manager in a multi-site firm previously
- Have broad knowledge and experience from a generalist background
- Be empathetic, approachable and a good listener
- Experience mentoring and managing others.
- Strong project management skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to work at an incredibly fast pace
- High attention to detail
This role will pay up to £60k (DOE) with a generous benefits package
