PERFORMANCE & MARKETING MANAGER

Function: Marketing | Performance Marketing | Paid Media

Responsibility: Digital Marketing Strategy, Paid Media Performance, Content Management

Reports to: The Head of Growth

Location: Gatwick Head Office (Crawley)

Compensation: £45k + Performance Bonus + 20 Days Paid Holiday + Bank Holidays

The STYRKR Company is a leading innovator in the wellness and sports nutrition manufacturing industry, dedicated to producing the highest quality products that fuel athletes and fitness enthusiasts worldwide. Our dedicated team of A-players are based just outside of Gatwick in West Sussex. Over the last few years, we’ve been building the STYRKR brand, D2C and B2B models in order to fulfil our vision of global domination. As of now products from our own brands and our growing client base are sold and distributed across the UK, USA, EU as well as Asia and South America.

Due to a recent surge in growth, we’ve been making changes to our long-term strategy in order to drive efficient expansion of our Operations. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, the Performance & Marketing Manager will be at the forefront, managing our end-to-end Digital Marketing, ensuring the strategic direction and growth of Styrkr across all Online channels, owned & earned media,. This role requires a blend of marketing knowledge, strategic thinking, leadership skills and commercial acumen to navigate the complexities of the wellness, fitness and sports nutrition online landscape.

We are looking for a commercially driven, data-driven, strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record of delivering marketing initiatives on time, making demonstrable improvements and managing staff to achieve KPIs. You’ll be using powerful analytical and reporting tools to ensure every decision you make is data-driven with forecastable results. Alongside this, you will be required to live and breathe our core values.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns across performance marketing channels including but not limited to PPC, display advertising, affiliate marketing, and SEO.
  • Manage and optimise social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) to enhance brand presence, increase follower engagement, and drive traffic to our digital properties.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content and creative assets tailored to specific target audiences and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct thorough audience research and utilise data-driven insights to refine targeting strategies and improve campaign performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyse campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and social media to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Lead A/B testing and experimentation initiatives to optimise ad creative, messaging, and landing page performance.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support the execution of marketing initiatives as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop cohesive cross-channel marketing strategies and campaigns.

Success in 6 months:

  • Demonstrable growth in online visibility and sales
  • Consistently hitting purchasing KPIs and targets
  • Independently managing marketing campaigns
  • Clear strategy created for future growth
  • There are no bottlenecks in Paid Media
  • Successful training and development of both Content & Social Media Executives

Success in 12 months:

  • Significant growth in online sales & consistent content
  • The development of a clear marketing strategy in line with the requirements of the business

  • The Content & Social Media team hitting all KPIs and smashing through their targets
  • There are no delays in the roll out of marketing initiatives
  • Clear strategy in line with company growth

  • Our marketing and online campaigns/initiatives can be delivered at high efficiency to meet the demands of the mass consumer market.

Experience & skills:

  • Proven experience within e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in digital marketing, with at least 4 years of experience in performance marketing and social media management.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving innovation in digital marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands is a plus.
