Job Title: Permanent Maths Teacher
Location: Leeds, United Kingdom
Start Date: September 2024
Salary Range: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
- Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.
- Participate in parent's evenings, school events, and extracurricular activities as required.
