Job Title: Permanent Maths Teacher

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom

Start Date: September 2024

Salary Range: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.

• Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

• Commitment to contributing to the wider school community.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.

• Differentiate teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of learners.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work and share best practices.

• Participate in parent's evenings, school events, and extracurricular activities as required.

• Uphold the school's ethos and values, promoting a culture of respect, resilience, and aspiration.
