Working with young people aged 16-25 in their transition to adulthood and independent living, you will have considerable experience of working with young people, and of liaison with other agencies in putting together support plans. You will demonstrate the ability to build relationships with young people, face difficult issues and deal with them sensitively, and to be a team player. This role also includes a significant amount of administration in recording contacts and other documents; this requires a high level of IT and time management skills.
Please note that travel is required as part of your role, as you will need to visit our young people at their home address to ensure they are managing with their transition into adulthood and independent living, and it is essential that you have a current drivers’ licence and access to a reliable vehicle on a regular basis.
