Personal Assistant Job in Battersea, London
A Personal Assistant job is now available, with an architectural and interior design studio based in Battersea, London. This a full-time opportunity and would suit someone with experience in the architecture industry.
Both a RIBA Chartered Practice and a BIID member, they offer an array of multidisciplinary services, including architectural design, interior design, and property management. Their portfolio predominately consists of high-end residences in prime areas of London, such as Kensington, Chelsea, and Westminster.
Role & Responsibilities
PA Responsibilities
- Anticipate and prepare for the Commercial Director’s daily and weekly needs
- Provide in-office administrative support, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
- Act as the first point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring professional communication
- Schedule meetings and appointments efficiently
- Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports with attention to detail
- Liaise with clients and external partners to arrange business engagements
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc tasks
- Ensure effective communication between senior management and other departments
- Exemplify professionalism and adapt flexibly to changing priorities.
Office Manager Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for callers, visitors, and new staff
- Taking charge of the curation of studio atmosphere and identity as preparation for receiving guests and clients daily
- Managing, running and maintenance of the office premises in collaboration with senior management and third-party contractors
- Ensuring the spaces are clean daily
- Keeping the consumables stocked seamlessly
- Managing studio infrastructure, email/post, office supplies and H&S
- Dealing with the upkeep of IT equipment
- Maintaining office filing and archive in liaison with other admin staff
- Keeping the office address book up to date
- Assistance with looking after the practice’s portfolio.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or similar field
- Previous experience working in an architecture or design practice
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of project management tools and software applications
- Excellent English, both written and verbal is essential
- Proactive and organised approach.
