Your new companyMy client is a Managing Director of multiple exciting and growing organisations in Lancaster, they are looking for a talented individual to support them on a daily basis. My client's main organisation, where this role will be based, is a luxury dog boarding and training facility with a celebrity clientele. He also owns a construction company alongside others. Your new roleThis role is an excellent opportunity for someone that wishes to be part of the Managing Director and his organisation's success. Applications from experienced Administrators are welcomed and no previous PA experience is necessary. Every day will be different, and you will accompany the Director to various locations when required. 30 hours per week for the first 3-4 months, when the next project is expected to commence, hours will increase to 37.5 hours a week, you will be paid pro rata. Duties will include:
- You will be responsible for managing the MDs calendar and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, co-ordinating with vendors where required.
- The MD's correspondence will be diverted to the PA, including phone calls, emails, and other forms of communication. You will ensure that messages are relayed accurately and promptly in order of importance.
- You will handle travel arrangements for MD, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation. You will also prepare travel itineraries and ensure that all necessary documents and arrangements are in place.
- Occasionally accompanying the MD whilst travelling within Europe.
- You will represent the MD professionally by building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
