Immediate start for the right applicant (after a probationary period).
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team, delivering sections of the 24 hour care required for a young man confined to a wheelchair.
You'll be working within the comforts of his home, providing his main support.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Personal care and hygiene, preparing food and assistance with feeding and social interaction (at the home premises and excursions).
Whilst confined to a wheelchair, you will be working with a very witty character, intelligent and you probably will get to like movies, some gaming and be introduced to Audio books.
This is not like a care home, you live and blend into the home, yet remain in your care position.
DBS check will be a criteria needed.
Experience of caring is preferred but more important is having a caring nature, a good sense of humour is advised but a maturity to understand the importance this role provides is vital, as you work within a team, to provide the 24hr care, 7 days a week.

The home address is on a limited bus route with a regular bus route within a 10 minute walk.
The weekly rota permits for part-time hours and regular longer hours.
